Into the Arcane,
Tactician’s Crown Set 13

I was contracted by Liquid Media to design the social, client, and livestream graphics for Tactician's Crown: Into the Arcane, TFT's Set 13 world championship showcasing the world's top 40 players competing for a $470K prize pool.
The tournament drew 227K peak concurrent viewers and over 2 million
hours watched across six broadcast platforms, making it the most-viewed Tactician's Crown to date.

The visual identity was driven by the set's central antagonist, an unstable force called the Corruption, represented through glitching visuals, corrupted type, and angular distortion. Each broadcast day evolved the look to reflect the story's descent, building narrative tension leading into The Final Act.

Digi Duos Invitational

I was contracted by Liquid Media to design the social and livestream graphics for a sponsored, competitive event called Digi Duos Invitational. The competition showcased 16 TFT players split into 4 teams, each with two duos with a $35K prize pool. The tournament gathered over 500k impressions across social media and livestreams. These designs were created for Digi Duos Invitational.

Set 14 of TFT dropped players into Cyber City, a neon-drenched, cyberpunk world where rogue AI’s, street gangs, and megacorps clash for control. The visual identity leaned into the set’s gritty, high tech chaos with glitch effects, metallic textures, and a bold, tech-noir palette inspired by the city’s warring factions.

Cyber City,
Tactician’s Crown Set 14

Returning for TFT's Set 14 world championship, I designed the social, client, and livestream graphics for Tactician's Crown: Cyber City, featuring the world's top 40 players competing for a $470K prize pool. The broadcast reached 179K peak concurrent viewers across seven platforms including Twitch, YouTube, and regional streams in Korea and Southeast Asia.

The visual identity leaned into Cyber City's near-future aesthetic. Chrome type systems, neon-lit circuitry motifs, and a palette pushing between cold industrial blues and electric accent color. The system was built to flex across fast-turnaround social formats, in-client placements, and a multi-lobby live broadcast spanning three days.

K.O. Coliseum,
Tactician’s Crown Set 15

For the third consecutive Tactician's Crown, Liquid Media brought me on to design the social, client, and livestream graphics, this time for K.O. Coliseum, the first edition to go partially offline, with competitors gathering in-person across venues in Alicante, Spain and Chengdu, China. The event featured 40 of the world's top players, a $470K prize pool, and drew 187K peak concurrent viewers across seven broadcast platforms.

This project also marked a strategic shift in Riot's approach to tournament branding, moving away from set-specific theming toward a more evergreen visual system built for longevity across future events. The creative direction matched the set's fighting-game energy. Bold knockout typography, arena lighting references, and high-contrast staging, while establishing a modular design language that could flex and scale across broadcast, social, and
in-client touchpoints.

Lore & Legends,
Tactician’s Crown Set 16

The fourth and most expansive project in the series, Tactician's Crown: Lore & Legends marked the most structurally ambitious season in competitive TFT history. I designed the social, client, and livestream graphics for a 40-player world final held live at Canton Tower in Guangzhou, China, with a $470K prize pool and regional prize pools exceeding $150K across four global regions.

Building on the evergreen system introduced in K.O. Coliseum, the design balanced consistency with the set's distinct Runeterra world-building, layering illustrated texture and editorial type treatment into a framework built to scale across social, client, and multi-day livestream formats.
